To provide a coil component in which a conductive member is reliably fixed to a magnetic core and ground connection is executed.

The magnetic core 1a to be used in the coil component is structured such that a hole 1c passing through an outer periphery close to the outer peripheral corner of the magnetic core 1a in an E shape and a notch 1d are connected to each other. Also, a ground connection terminal 2a has an external shape which is a T shape in the view from an X direction and is a roughly L shape in the view from a Y direction, and has such a shape that the longitudinal side of a Z direction can be inserted to the hole 1c and the short side of a Y direction can be fitted to the notch 1d, the longitudinal side of the Z direction is used for ground connection, and the short side of the Y direction is used for terminal fixation. The ground connection terminal 2a is inserted, fitted and mounted to the through-hole 1c and the notch 1d of the magnetic core 1a in the E shape.
