Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of suppressing deterioration of the propagation characteristics of a signal line.SOLUTION: A coil component 1 has a winding core 13, a first flange 11 and a second flange 12 provided at the opposite ends of the winding core 13, electrodes 30 provided in the first flange 11 and second flange 12, a first coil 21 and a second coil 22 connected electrically between the electrode 30 of the first flange 11 and the electrode 30 of the second flange 12, and interconnected in series, and a protrusion 15 provided on the end face of the first flange 11 on the opposite side of the winding core 13. The first coil 21 is provided in the winding core 13, the second coil 22 is provided in the protrusion 15, and the inductance value of the first coil 21 is different from the inductance value of the second coil 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
