Abstract:
To provide a coil component capable of suppressing reduction in withstand voltage while ensuring mounting strength.SOLUTION: A coil component 1 includes an element body 2 having a main surface 2d to be used as a mounting surface, a coil 3 disposed in the element body 2, and a first electrode part 6 embedded in the element body 2 and electrically connected to the coil 3. The first electrode part 6 has a first surface 6a exposed from the main surface 2d, and a second surface 6b opposite the first surface 6a. Viewing from a direction orthogonal to the first surface 6a, the area of the first surface 6a is larger than the area of the second surface 6b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
