To provide a coil conveying device which has conveyance trucks capable of traveling on a track having a curve section with a small curvature radius and a gradient section and has improved conveyance efficiency.
This coil conveying device 1 traveling on a rail 4 and conveying coils 5 formed by winding steel plates is provided with a plurality of master and slave trucks 30 as independent four-wheel drive type conveyance trucks on which the coils 5 are placed one by one. The plurality of master and slave trucks 30 are connected with each other in series so as to mutually enable relative displacement by connecting parts 31 provided between the respective adjacent master and slave trucks 30. Control devices 51 capable of individually driving and controlling each wheel of the respective master and slave trucks 30 are provided.
