To provide a coil device for induction-heating with which the recessed portions at both side surfaces of a workpiece can uniformly be induction-heated and the good hardened state can be obtained by improving the heating efficiency.
The coil device for induction-heating the recessed portions positioned in nearly central part of the both right and light side surfaces orthogonal to the carrying direction of a workpiece while carrying the workpiece, is provided with coil bodies disposed at both right and the left sides orthogonal to the carrying direction, and projecting parts projectively formed toward the recessing directions on the surfaces of the coil bodies facing the recessed portions of the workpiece. The projecting parts are arranged so that the length in the carrying direction corresponds to the carrying speed of the workpiece.
