Title:
COIL DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6332800
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make current zero without causing a transient phenomenon such as undershoot at the stop of drive by connecting a damping element between one terminal of a coil and grounding in a drive circuit for X, Y coils.

CONSTITUTION: A means 20 is connected to the terminal of at least one of the X coil 1 and ground 30. The drive current in the coil of the means 20 is made zero more slowly in comparison with the case as the X coil 1, Y coil 5 having a parallel resistive element 6 for the drive stop to the bubble. Through the circuit constitution above, switches 11W14, 21W24 are subjected to on/off control. In this case, in repeating ON/OFF to the switches 21, 24, 12, 13, 22, 23 and 11, 14 with a time difference and turning off the switches 11, 14, the means 20 is operated to make the current zero without causing a transient phenomenon such as overshoot. Thus, malfunction due to unstable bubble position is not caused.
