To provide a coil feeder line for the press, by which the weight controls of a coil material and the remainder of the coil material and the preparation working of the coil material required for a production, can be easily and effectively performed.
A strain sensor 13 is installed on a machine body 11 generating strain by the coil material 3 loaded on an uncoiler 10. And, when a coil car 14 has been provided on an uncoiler 10A, the strain sensor 13 is installed on the supporter 15 of the coil car 14. From the outputs of these strain sensors 13, weight is calculated by a load cell 19, and a load capacity is found. The necessary weight of the coil material is found by a controller 18 from the quantity of a product to be produced, the plate thickness, plate width and specific gravity of the coil material, which have been inputted from an input setting instrument 20. The overs and shorts of the load capacity to the necessary weight found are judged, they are displayed on a display panel 21, and if the coil material to be loaded successively should be used for the same product or if it should be used for another product to be produced successively, or the like are outputted to a stock control device.
