PURPOSE: To enable the assembling of a coil by an authomatic machine by containing the coiled part of the coil in a U-shaped holder with an upper opening and bending the terminals of the coil along the bottom surface of the holder, thereby facilitating the adjustment of the inductance of the coil.
CONSTITUTION: The bottoms of L-shaped mambers 12a, 12b are bonded to form a U-shaped holder 12, the coiled part 11a of a coil 11 is mounted in the holder, and the terminals 11b are projected from the bottom of the holder 12 and are bent along the bottom. Thus, an interval between the opening of the holder 12 to the wire of the coil can be adjusted, thereby controlling the inductance of the coil. Since the holder is gripped when the coil is automatically mounted on a printed board, the coil may not be deformed. When a chip coil is manufactured, L-shaped strip members 12a, 12b are used, thereby enabling the automation of the manufacture, and the productivity can be improved.
