Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-wire heater which is formed on an automotive glass substrate and shows a tone of dark brown by forming the hot-wire heater from a specific conductive composition composed chiefly of silver powders.
SOLUTION: A pattern on which a plurality of parallel element wires 5 and busbars 7a, 7b are arranged is screen-printed on the tin surface 3a of an automotive glass substrate 3 and is baked to form a hot-wire heater 1. The hot-wire heater 1 is constructed of a conductive composition made up of silver powders, 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of glass frit, 0.00001 to 0.0001 parts by weight of an organic rhodium in terms of metal rhodium, 1 to 5 parts by weight of an inorganic pigment, and 10 to 40 parts by weight of an organic vehicle to 100 parts by weight of silver powder. The hot-wire heater showing a tone of dark brown deeper than silver amber can thus be obtained.
