Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the connection work of a screen and improve the workability, by winding up a long size pipe-shaped screen member to form a coil and lowing it into a well hole while winding off the continuously wound up screen.
CONSTITUTION: Necessary numbers of screen units 2 are welded together at respective terminal rings 3 and wound up to form a coil on a drum 5 as a long size pipe-shaped screen member 4. In this case, the screen unit 2 are arranged cylindrically at every specified distance in the peripheral direction and a wedge wire is wound up at the outer periphery of a number of support rods axially extended. At that time, slits with a specified width are formed and a pair of terminal rings 3 are fixed to both ends of the support rod. And a screen unit 2 and another subsequent screen unit 2 are welded to unify them at the terminal rings 3. And all screen units 2 are connected to each other in series and wound up on the drum 5.
