To provide a coil-sealed dust core that is improved in reliability by preventing the occurrence of short circuits between conductors.
In this coil-sealed dust core, a coil 21 is embedded in magnetic powder composed of ferromagnetic metallic particles coated with an insulating material. The coil 21 is composed of one, two, or more winding layers, wound on a plane almost perpendicular to the pressed direction of the dust core. Two lead-out wires 23A and 23B of the coil 21 are led out, without crossing the upper or lower winding layer of the winding layers. It is possible to form broad sections by crushing front end sections of the lead-out wires 23A and 23B and to form external terminals 24 on the outside of a dust core section 25 composed of the magnetic powder in the broad sections.
