Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil spring unit for a vehicle suspension which is advantageous to the reduction of a Hersh shock.SOLUTION: A coil spring unit S for a vehicle suspension comprises: a coil spring main body 5 composed of spiral spring wires; a pair of chamber members 8, 9 which are arranged so as to straddle the spring wires which adjoin each other in an extension direction of the coil spring main body 5, separated from each other in a circumferential direction of the coil spring main body 5, and composed of elastic materials; and pipe members 10, 11 which make internal chambers of a pair of the chamber members 8, 9 communicate with each other. Viscous fluids are sealed into the internal chambers of a pair of the chamber members 8, 9 and internal flow passages of the pipe members 10, 11.
