Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of a coiled electric contact material, in a coil stand for mounting an electric contact material, by fitting a ring having required inner diameter made of elastically deformable tape material to the outside of pins arranged at four corners in the radial directions. CONSTITUTION:A coil stand 9 is constructed by fitting a ring 8 made of elastically deformable SUS tape material 6 having one end inserted into a lipped groove insertion port 7 formed at the other end to the outside of pins 3 in the radial directions. Since the ring 8 is fitted to the outside of pins 3 arranged at four corners on a disc 1, a coiled electric contact material contacts tightly with the ring 8 and supported when it is mounted on the ring 8, and held reliably in circular without causing deformation through the dead weight. Consequently, when the electric contact strip material is fed out and pressed to desired contact shape, an electric contact having high dimension and shape accuracy and no deformation thus causing no insufficient contact can be obtained.
