PURPOSE: To enable an operator of the crane used in a yard to transfer a coil to a designated line in a yard after inquiring of a memory equipment about a line number in a yard to keep a coil placed on a temporary stand by means of a wireless operation equipment.

CONSTITUTION: Since it is necessary that a coil, with its initial process 1 finished, be transferred to, by a forklift 2, and temporarily kept in a half finished coil yard 3 for the next process 4, a sign of the next process yard and a line number of a yard required for temporary keeping are indicated on said coil on the basis of instructions of an upper level computer. By means of a wireless operation equipment 7 and in accordance with the indications on said coil, a forklift operator has a memory equipment 8, nearby arranged, to store a sign of the designated yard, number of a temporary bench 6 on which the coil is placed and the line number in a yard to be temporarily reserved for the next process 4. A crane operator, after making a reference to the memory equipment 8 through a wireless operation display equipment 9, transfers a coil 10 to a designated place of housing in accordance with a display on the display equipment 9.
