PURPOSE: To stabilize the retention of a device for transferring a slit coil from a recoiler drum, by installing a pair of slide bases, being connected or separated with each reversing screw shaft, on a coil car, and setting up each of V-type troughs on the bases.

CONSTITUTION: Two slide tables 2, 3 screwed with both symmetrical screws 12 are installed on a machine base 1 of a coil car. Two brackets 4, 5 are clamped onto these slide tables 2, 3. Then, one side is supported free of rotation by pins 6, 7 and the other side is supported by screw jacks 10, 11 and V-type troughs 8, 9 are attached thereto. In succession, the symmetrical screw shafts 12 are rotated by a driver 13 and the slide tables 2, 3 are relatively moved, thus they are approached or separated according to a coil diameter. Simultaneously each tilt angle of the V-type troughs 8, 9 is changed by the screw jacks 10, 11, stabilizing their holding.
