Abstract:
To provide a coil unit capable of suppressing a decrease of power transmission efficiency due to wireless power transmission while reducing leakage flux.SOLUTION: A coil unit includes a first main surface, a magnetic material having a second main surface facing the first main surface, a first coil in which a first conductor is spirally wound around a first axis, and a second coil in which a second conductor is spirally wound around a second axis for one or more rotations. The first coil has a first coil surface that intersects the first axis, and is arranged with respect to the magnetic material so that the first coil surface faces the first main surface, the second coil has a second coil surface that intersects the second axis, and is arranged with respect to the magnetic material so that the second coil surface faces the second main surface, and the first coil surface and the second coil surface have openings, at least one part of an inner edge of the openings of the second coil surface is separated from the magnetic material, and in the second coil, a magnetic field opposite to a magnetic field generated by the first coil is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
