To solve a problem of a coin carrier for a coin handling device such as an automatic vending machine or a money-changing machine wherein a coin self-travels on the upper face of a belt carrying the put-in coin into the handling device, and is rejected and discharged to cause a retry of a coin input, delay in processing or the like, by disposing a rotatable shaft which can abut on the self-standing coin to turn down the coin.

This carrier has the endless carrier belt 12 receiving the coin put-in from an input port 11 by the upper face and carrying the coin aslant upward when the carrier belt 12 normally rotates; and at least one rotatable shaft 20 disposed at an interval narrower than a diameter of the minimum- diameter coin from the upper face of the carrier belt 12, parallel to the upper face of the carrier belt 12, in the crossing direction to the width direction of the carrier belt 12. When the self-traveling coin on the carrier belt 12 moves to the upstream side of the carrying direction on the upper face of the carrier belt 12 to contact with the shaft 20, the self-traveling coin is easy to fall down by the rotation of the shaft 20.
