Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a space and to prevent coins from remaining inside a temporary holding part.
SOLUTION: A temporary holding part 52 for accepting and temporarily holding coins, which are identified by a coin identifying part 31, from a coin carrier path 23 is provided attachably and detachably to a main body 11 of a counter. A lock means is provided for locking the temporary holding part 52 so as not to be attachable and detachable to the main body 11 of the counter. A held coin discharging means is provided for discharging the held coins from an opening part 56 of the temporary holding part 52 by rotating the temporary holding part 52. A storage part is provided for storing the coins discharged from the temporary holding part 52. Based on a storage instruction, the held coins in the temporary holding part 52 are discharged by the held coin discharging means and based on a return instruction, the lock due to the lock means is canceled. By ejecting the temporary holding part 52 from the main body 11 of the counter, the held coins are collected.
