Abstract:
To provide a coin deposit device capable of promptly collecting surplus coins, even when a large number of surplus coins exist when depositing a large number of coins.SOLUTION: A coin deposit device includes: a coin counting unit 4 that counts coins to be inputted; a separator 7 that distributes the coins counted by the coin counting unit 4 into a temporary storage unit or a return unit for storage based on a counting result by the coin counting unit 4, and distributes the coins designated as surplus coins based on the counting result by the coin counting unit 4 into the return unit; and a control unit 141 that stores the coins stored in the temporary storage unit in a safe, stores the surplus coins in the return unit, and enables the stored coins to be returned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
