Abstract:
To prevent unauthorized use of a coin or the like.
The coin is, for example, a 500 yen coin and a circular opening 2 is formed at a center part of the coin body 1. The opening 2 is a through hole, a radio data carrier (RFID) 3 is provided at its intermediate part and the radio data carrier 3 is fixed with resin 4 poured into the opening 2. An ID number is stored in the radio data carrier 3 and when the ID number coincides with an ID number previously recorded on the side of a coin discriminating device, the coin is judged as a regular coin.
