To provide an inexpensive and highly reliable coin hopper device easy in maintenance and inspection, few in failure, preventing formation of a coin bridge with a simple configuration.

This coin discharge device has: a hopper part 5 storing a plurality of coins 30; a discharge part 11 continuously provided in a lower part of the hopper part 5, discharging the coins 30 stored inside the hopper part 5 one by one; a control part controlling drive of the discharge part 11; and an inclination plate 8 projecting from one side wall 6f inside the hopper part 5 to the other side wall 6h such that it is inclined downward, provided such that it covers above the discharge part 11. In the coin discharge device, a descent passage 19 leading the coin 30 stored inside the hopper part 5 to the discharge part 11 is formed between a lower end part of the inclination plate 8 and the other side wall 6h inside the hopper part 5, and the coin 30 led to the discharge part 11 is discharged from a discharge port 17. In the coin discharge device, a coin control member 3 distributing the coins 30 descending through the descent passage 19 is provided above the descent passage 19.
