Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a coin processor capable of guiding a coin to one of three different routes by the use of only one movable element.
CONSTITUTION: The coin processor includes a coin feeding passage 12, three coin discharging passages 38, etc. A turning gate 24 is arranged on the passage 12 and provided with a coin guiding upper edge 32 and mutually opposite coin guiding faces. A gate actuator selectively moves the gate 24 to a 1st position for guiding a coin to the 1st discharging passage 38 by the upper edge 32, a 2nd position for guiding the coin into a 2nd discharging passage by one of the opposite faces, and a 3rd position for guiding the coin to a 3rd discharging passage by the other face. A 2nd similar gate 132 is arranged in the 1st discharging passage 38 so as to further guide the coin to one of three directions.
