PURPOSE: To provide a coin inserting device which is capable of preventing the jamming of coins in a change of direction part by surely performing the change of direction of coins although the device is small-sized.
CONSTITUTION: A first passage 2 and a second passage 3 have rectangular shapes and guide so that coins may fall in a state that they stand. The lower end part of the first passage 2 and the upper part of the second passage 3 are connected via a connection passage 4 and coins ejected from the first passage 2 slide on the slope 4a of the connection passage 4 and are introduced in the second passage 3. A triangle shape change of direction projection 5 is provided projectingly in the connection part of the first passage 2 and the connection passage 4 and the coins introduced from the first passage 2 to the connection passage 4 slide on the change of direction projection 5 and are laid. At this time, because a pressing member 6 comes into contact with the upper surface of coins, the jumping of coins is prevented. Subsequently, coins slide on the slope 4a and the introduced into the second passage 3.
