Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce cost by removing an overflow sensor provided in an overflow distributing part for every change tube (in this example, four pieces in each separate kind of money) in conventional method, and also, to decrease the danger of a coin jam by placing a sensor in the distributing part.
CONSTITUTION: A money inspecting means discriminates the authencity and the kind of money of coin thrown in from a coin throw-in port 5, and an authentic coin is guided to a change tube 4 of the kind of money concerned. Subsequently, unless the change tube 4 is full, this coin goes into the tube 4 and is utilized for change at the time of vending a commodity, and if the tube 4 is full, this coin is distributed to a money collecting passage 10 side for going to a collected coin outlet 6 by an overflow part 9, and contained in a money box 7. On a money collecting passage 10a being common to a coin, a collected money sensor 8 is provided as 8a or 8b, and after the money inspecting sensor 3 detects the authetic coin, unless the collected money sensor 8 detects passing of a coin within a prescribed time, it is decided that the coin goes into the change tube 4 and a storage value of the number of change is subjected to +1.
