Title:
COIN AND MEDAL INSERTION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06203252
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for many manual actions for insertion by providing a coin array member where a slit open to a groove is formed in contact with the closed end of the groove and specifying the angle between the closed end and bottom surface of the groove.

CONSTITUTION: One end of the linear groove 3 is closed and the closed end forms a coin pressure part 4. The bottom surface of the linear groove 3 is not horizontal, but slanted upwardly at an angle 6 from the coin pressure part 4 as the closed end to the other end of the linear groove 3. Further, the angle βbetween the coin pressure part 4 and the bottom surface of the linear groove 3 is set to ≤90°. Therefore, the lower ends 1b1-1d1 of the upper peripheral edges of the coins 1b-1d abut on the bottom surfaces of the linear groove 3 and the lower ends of the lower peripheral edges of the coins 1b-1d are separated from the bottom surface of the linear groove 3; while the lower end surface 1a2 of the coin 1a as the bottom is made to abut on the coin pressure part 4, the coins are arrayed and stored in the linear groove 3 while shifting, bit by bit, in a roof tile state.
