To provide a coin-operated locker-system in which a key is not required for the locking and unlocking of an open-close door for a locker room and whether or not baggage is introduced into any coin-operated locker is not puzzled.

This system 10 has a large number of the coin-operated lockers 12, a retrieval terminal 14, and a communication network 16 mutually connecting the coin-operated lockers 12 and the retrieval terminal 14. The open-close door for the locker room can be locked and unlocked without using the key respectively in the coin-operated lockers 12, and the open-close door is not locked in the case of nonuse. Each coin-operated locker 12 has a lock device, a charge receiving device receiving specified charge, a fingerprint reader reading the fingerprint of a user, and a user confirmation device. The retrieval terminal 14 has the fingerprint reader reading the fingerprint of the user and an image display device, and transmits and receives fingerprint information to and from the user confirmation devices 24 for each coin-operated locker 12 through the communication network 16.
