Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform separation by a coin diameter at a high speed even for coins with little diameter difference and to shorten a passage length.
SOLUTION: In a coin sorting passage 28, a sorting passage part area 34 and an introduction passage part area 33 are provided. In the sorting passage part area 34, sorting groove holes 76 for respective denominations are provided corresponding to the coin diameters for the respective denominations in an order from a small diameter to a large diameter from an upstream to a downstream with a sorting reference side edge part 75 as a reference. The introduction passage part area 33 is provided with a guiding edge part 61 from the outer side of a passage with direction to the sorting reference side edge part 75 and the coins are sent into the sorting passage part area 34 along the guiding edge part 61. The introduction passage part area 33 is provided with an approximate small diameter denomination coin branching part 63 for branching the approximate small diameter denomination coins of the small diameter in the two denominations whose coin diameters are approximate among the respective denomination coins to be sorted. The approximate small diameter denomination coin branching part 63 is provided with an electric driving part SD3 for performing driving based on the identified result of a coin identification part and a branching member 65 operated by the electric driving part SD3.
