The device is also provided with a sorting part 4 for sorting the discriminated coins, and a holding part 5 for temporarily holding the sorted coins (true coins) under this. A coin housing part 6 having plural housing cylinders 6A and 6D corresponding to plural denominations and housing change at the time of merchandise sales is provided on a lower stage of this part 5. Further, a coin paying out part 7 for returning coins when a coin is discriminated to be false by the part 4 or when a returning request is given from a customer is provided at the lower part of a coin paying- out device main body 1. Cost up and a fault are prevented to the minimum by constituting the main body 1 without using lift mechanism.
