Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor which can surely discriminate the coins in each denomination and also can easily and instantaneously collect the coins which are wrong discriminated.
SOLUTION: The coins thrown through a coin slot 17 are separated from each other and carried on a coin path 51. Then the coins are discriminated and dropped through the discrimination holes 71A to 71F prepared on the path 51 and then stored in the store parts 31 which are horizontally arrayed in each denomination. The path 51 is set almost linearly in the front-back direction to the body of this processor with the holes 71A to 71F prepared also in the front-back direction. Then the discriminated coin conveyors 77A to 77E are placed horizontally to the processor body to carry the selected and dropped coins to the parts 31 in each denomination.
