Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a coin processor of an automatic vending machine which can separate the coins thrown in readily from each other and then ejects these coins to a coin mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: The coins thrown through a coin slot are separated from each other by the rollers 3a and 3b which are set side by side with a gap secured between both rollers through which just a single coin can pass. Then both rollers 3a and 3b revolve in the same direction. In such a constitution, the rollers 3a and 3b are revolved reversely against the wedge-shaped jam and the scalelike jam of the coins. Thus the coins are separated from each other and dropped down. As a result, plural coins can be separated from each other and ejected at a high speed and with no coin jam. Further more the foreign matters if mixed can be easily taken out of a door 1.
