Coins counted by a counting means 20 are stored in the storage part. A quantity of storage of the coins to be stored in the storage part is set by a setting means 17 according to arbitrary weight. It is detected by a detecting means 32 that the quantity of storage of the coins to be stored in the storage part has reached the storage quantity of the coins according to the weight set by the setting means 17. On the basis of the detection by the detecting means 32, it is displayed by a display means 15 that the coins in accordance with the set weight has been stored. The quantity of storage of the coins to be stored in the storage part can arbitrarily be set according to a person in charge and the setting can easily be made according to the weight of the coin intuitively graspable.
