The coin processor for performing processing about a coin includes: a depositing/dispensing opening for receiving an input coin, or for receiving a coin delivered from the coin processor; an upper shutter for opening and closing the depositing/dispensing opening; a transparent lower shutter having an opening for inputting only a coin for opening and closing the depositing/dispensing opening independently of the upper shutter; a driving part for opening and closing the upper shutter and the lower shutter; and a control part for controlling the operation of the upper shutter and the lower shutter by the driving part.
