Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recognizable whether a housing box is opened/closed or not by detecting unlocking of a locking mechanism since an electromagnetic solenoid is not driven when power is not applied in a coin processor.
SOLUTION: The coin processor discriminates and counts fed coins and housing acceptable coins in a housing means is provided with a housing tray means housing the housing means and freely attachable and detachable to the main body of the coin processor. The processor is provided with the lock mechanism 21 which has the electromagnetic solenoid 29 controlling attaching and detaching of the housing tray means and which has also a function of releasing the control of attaching/detaching of the housing tray means not by driving the solenoid 29 but by manual operation when power is not applied. Further, the processor is provided with a storing means 31 storing the presence of manual releasing of the lock mechanism 21 executed when power is not applied.
