Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin roll opening device which can easily open a package of a coin roll and hold scraps of the package of the coin roll in opening the package to prevent them, e.g., from entering a change machine.SOLUTION: A coin roll opening device comprises: a first guide member 110 to be in contact with one end surface of a coin roll 200; and a rotary knife 31 disposed at a predetermined distance from the first guide member 110. A gap formed between the first guide member 110 and the rotary knife 31 is defined as a holding part S. The one end surface of the coin roll 200 is rotated while in contact with the first guide member 110 to cut a package 201 of the coin roll 200 with the rotary knife 31, and a curl part 203 of the cut package 201 is held within the holding part S.
