Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin selection device which can perform stable high speed processing, which can achieve saving of space, and which can select a coin without using motion power.SOLUTION: A coin selection device 1 for selecting a coin for every kind of coin, without using motion power comprises: a coin insertion port 2; a coin passage on which a coin inserted into the coin insertion port 2 rolls; and a divergence protrusion 6 for diverging a coin which rolls on the coin passage and whose outer diameter is equal to or more than a constant value. The coin passage has at least a floor face 4 and an outer wall 5, and the coin inserted into the coin insertion port 2 rolls while contacting the outer wall 5 by centrifugal force, and the coin passage is in a spiral shape. The divergence protrusion 6 is configured to diverge the coin whose outer diameter is equal to or more than the constant value, to a side of a center shaft of the spiral shape of the coin passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
