Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coin selector with superior reliability by providing an inclined surface shifting freely between a first position located at a coin carrier path and a second position not located at the coin carrier path, and selecting the coin by shifting the inclined surface corresponding to money specification.
CONSTITUTION: A plate 73 can be moved pivotally centering a pin 74, and it can take the first position where an apex part 75 is protruded over the coin carrier path 3 and the second position where it is located exactly under the lower side of the coin carrier path 3. The apex part 75 is protruded over the elongated hole 31 of the coin carrier path 3 at the first position, and the inclined surface 76 with ascending slope advancing from the upstream side to the downstream side of a coin carrying direction is formed. An electromagnetic solenoid 72 is controlled, and the plate 73 is moved pivotally between the first position and the second position, and selection between a designated coin and an undesignated coin is performed. A control circuit controls the solenoid 72 by collating a signal string from a coin discrimination device 6 with the number of carry detection signals from a coin carry detection sensor 11.
