PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up a selecting process and to expand a selectable coin diameter range.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a coin conveying path 3, which guides a coin C along a guide member 32 on a passage face 30, and a conveying belt 43 claming the coin C between the passage face 30 for conveying it. On the passage face 30 of the conveying path 3, a discharge port 60 is formed adjacently to the guide member 32. The exclusion port 60 is provided with a guide edge part 60a tilted to be gradually separated from the guide member 32 toward the downstream side of the conveying path 3. Below the exclusion hole 60, a supporting roller member 62 is arranged opposedly to the conveying belt 43. A pressing roller 66 capable of clamping the coin C between the supporting roller member 62 via the conveying belt 43 is arranged. The supporting roller member 62 is constructed to be switched between a coin passage position, in which the upper edge part height of the supporting roller member 62 is equal to or higher than the height of the upper end of the guide edge part 60a, and a coin exclusion position, in which it is lower than the height of the lower end of the guide edge part 60a.
