To provide a coin feeding identification device capable of smoothly identifying a coin, and to provide a ticket/coin separator therewith.

This ticket/coin separator has: a separator separating a numbered ticket and the coin C; and the coin feeding identification device 30 carrying the separated coin C to identify denomination. The coin feeding identification device 30 has: a coin feeding mechanism 40 feeding the coin C downward; and a coin identification mechanism 50 identifying the kind of the coin C fed from the coin feeding mechanism 40. The coin identification mechanism 50 has a coin identification sensor 57 installed to a movable frame 12 side. The coin identification mechanism 50 has a stop mechanism 32 stopping the coins identification sensor 57 to a regular position allowing the identification of the kind of the coin C until the movable frame 12 moves to a separation direction X by a prescribed distance B.
