Abstract:
To provide a coin separating device capable of achieving downsizing of a coin processing machine.SOLUTION: The present invention is a coin separating device 10 which supplies a plurality of deposited coins one by one in a separated state, and comprises: a separation main body portion 31 having a bottomed cylindrical rotary body storage portion 311, and a supply port 311b formed on the side surface 311a thereof; and a substantially disc-like rotating body 32 housed in the rotary body storage portion 311 rotatably around a central axis of itself and having a plurality of coin passage holes 322 formed on the same circumference around the central axis. By rotating the rotating body 32 about the central axis, the contact surface of a pressing projection formed in a manner projecting downward from the lower surface passes through the coin passage hole 322 and the coin placed on a bottom surface 311d of the rotary body storage portion 311 is pressed and supplied from the supply port 311b, and the pressing projection is formed to be inclined in such a manner that the contact surface is advanced in the rotational direction and then retracted as it goes radially outward from the central axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
