Abstract:
PURPOSE: To economically cope with the change of the kind of coins to be sorted by making an external size sorting part into a unit and making it freely attachable and detachable to/from a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: When the external size of the coins to be sorted in changed, a coin sorting plate member 25 provided with a coin sorting window 26 or a sorting rail part 27 corresponding to the outside diameter and thickness of the new coins and a flapper 35 for which the position of a dowel 38 is charged corresponding to the new coins are prepared. And, the pawl part 30 of the coin sorting member 25 of a coin sorting unit 24 attached at present is elastically deformed, engagement with the projecting body of the substrate 2 is released, and the coin sorting unit 24 is detached from an opening part 12. Then, the new coin sorting unit 24 composed of the coin sorting member 25 and the flapper 35 prepared beforehand is fitted and fixed to the opening part 12. In such a manner, since the need of exchanging the entire substrate 2 is eliminated and the exchange of only the coin sorting unit 24 which is a part of the substrate 2 is sufficient for the purpose even when the external size of the coins to be sorted is changed, it is possible to economically cope with the change of the external size of coin.
