Title:
COIN SORTING COUNTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3848517
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorting counter which can sort and count plural kinds of coins and can store them in respective storage parts in parallel and can continue a processing even if the number of stored coins in each storage part storing the coins reaches a prescribed number of coins.
SOLUTION: A first sorting part 71 selectively removes coins except for two kinds of coins designated by a denomination designation means. The two kinds of designated coins are selectively removed from two sorting parts among the three selection parts 72 to 74 of a second sorting part 72 to a fourth sorting part 74. Whenever the number of stored coins in the storage parts corresponding to the two sorting parts reaches prescribed number of coins, the selective removal of the coins of the kinds, which reach the prescribed number of coins, is sequentially switched to one remaining sorting part. The selective counting of the two kinds of coins and the storage of the coins to the two storage parts can be performed in parallel. Even if the prescribed number of stored coins in the respective storage parts storing the coins reaches the prescribed number of coins, the processing can be continued.
