Title:
COIN SORTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3353327
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the precision of true/forgery discrimination of a used coin by resolving an influence of the detected voltage variance upon the ambient temperature of a selecting device in the coin selecting device with A/D conversion circuit used in a vending machine or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A thermistor RSI and a resistance R4 are connected in series between an input terminal IN and a common terminal C of a constant voltage generating circuit 7, and a resistance R5 is connected between the common terminal C and the earth. Resistances R1 to R3 are connected in series between an output terminal OUT and the common terminal C of the constant voltage generating circuit 7. The connection point between resistances R1 and R2 is connected to a reference voltage terminal VH of an A/D conversion circuit 5, and the connection point between resistances R2 and R3 is connected to a reference voltage terminal VL of this circuit 5. Thus, the A/D conversion value of the detected voltage variation is taken out as a large value to discriminate the subtle differences among respective thrown-in coins, and coin selection of high precision is possible.
