Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorting device capable of cushioning an impact when a falling coin collides with a sorting piece, and sorting a coin smoothly. SOLUTION: The coin sorting device protrudes and withdraws a sorting part 206, structured of a pair of front and rear sorting pieces 206a, 206b forked into two upward, in front of and at the back of a coin passage wall A extended vertically, and sorts a dropped coin falling in each of the sorting pieces 206a, 206b in left and right two directions. A coin receiving surface 206d of at least one of the sorting pieces 206a, 206b is structured so as to have an inclining surface 206e inclining forward or backward. Thereby when the falling coin collides with the inclining surface 206e, a collision load of the coin is dispersed in front and back directions and the coin does not bounce upward greatly so that clogging of the coin is prevented.
