Coins in diameter of that of coins to be sorted or larger can be sorted by a coin sorting device which the bottom face of a cylindrical body is inclined so that coins slide from the upper part towards the lower part, the lowermost edge of the bottom face is cut in a concave state, a side wall face on the opposite side of the inclined bottom face is provided with an opening in diameter smaller than the coins to be sorted but larger than the coins one size smaller than the coins to be sorted, and the opening is installed from the upper part towards the lower part of the cylindrical body.
