Abstract:
To provide a coin storage device, capable of effectively arousing user's motivation to use it continuously.
The coin storage device as a saving box 1 is for storing charged coins A inside. The device is provided with an image pickup unit 8 to pick up the image of a surface of the coin A as the coin A is charged for producing image data of the surface, a control unit 9 to request information search through a communication network using a search key including a string of letters for search after recognizing an image pattern on the surface of the coin A as a preset string of letters for search based on the image data, and a display 3 to display searched information to the request from the control unit 9.
