Abstract:
To provide a coin storage method and a coin storage device that enable coins of a specific denomination to be stored efficiently.SOLUTION: A coin storage method according to the present disclosure is executed by a processor that a coin storage device has, including: delivering a coin from a first storage part that stores coins; identifying a denomination of the delivered coin; executing a replenishing operation of selectively storing the coin in a second storage part that stores coins to be paid to the outside, based on the number of coins already stored in the second storage part per denomination and the identified denomination of the coin; and changing, in the replenishing operation, a combination of the denomination and the number of coins to be stored in the second storage part depending on the denomination of the coin delivered from the first storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
