Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin-wrapping machine which can surely sort and efficiently collect newly issued coins and old coins circulated thus far, as coins of the same denomination, while counting them and also wrap the newly issued coins to make coin-wrapping rolls.
SOLUTION: When coins of a denomination, specified by a denomination specifying means, include the newly issued coins and coins which have already circulated, a control unit discriminates between the newly issued coins and coins which have already circulated. When a counting mode is selected, a 1st coin selecting and collecting means selects and collects acceptable coins, and when the coins of the specified denomination includes the newly issued coins and the coins which are already circulated, a 2nd coin selecting and collecting means selects and collects one of them.
