PURPOSE: To enable a refrigerator to be used both as a transportation apparatus and as a storage by providing an electromagnetic shutter at a cold air passage part through which a cold accumulating chamber and a cold storage chamber communicate with each other, closing the shutter when a blowing fan in the cold accumulating chamber is operated, and opening the shutter when the fan is stopped and at the time of cold storage transportation.

CONSTITUTION: When a circuit of a cold accumulation temperature detector 42 is closed, an electromagnetic shutter 35 is closed so that cold air is released through a partial opening part 35a into a cold storage chamber 36, thereby preventing the cold air from being released excessively to the side of the chamber 36 by an operation of a blowing fan 30. When the circuit of the detector 42 is opened, the shutter 35 is opened so that the cold air can be fed sufficiently into the cold storage chamber 36 by a ventilating fan 37 even with the blowing fan 30 being stopped. When this system is used for cold storage transportation, the shutter 35 is opened, and the cold air in a cold accumulating chamber 27 is fed into the cold storage chamber 36 by the ventilating fan 37, thereby controlling the chamber 36 to a predetermined temperature.
