In the cold drawing method of the metal with the lubricating film formed on the surface, a work piece for working has the raw material, oxide scale of ≤1,000 μm in film thickness formed on the surface of the raw material, and the lubricating film formed by being further laminated on the oxide scale, The lubricating film is provided with a resin layer including a resin and wax particles dispersed into the resin. The resin is contained in the resin layer in amount of 25 to 99 mass% when the amount of the resin layer is defined as 100 mass%, and the resin is crosslinked by a compound having the glass transition temperature of ≤30°C, and containing at least one metal element of a typical metal element and transition metal and/or its ions.
