To obtain a cold insulation system for sustaining grains in an appropriate uniformly cooled state while facilitating maintenance and preventing adhesion of rice bran to a tank.
A storage hopper 2 is surrounded by a heat insulation box 4 through a gap 3, an opening 10 for supplying grains into the storage hopper 2 is made at an upper part of the heat insulation box 4 and applied with a cover 11. A cooling unit 5 is disposed on the lower side of the inclining bottom wall 2A of the storage hopper 2 and cold air inlet and outlet 7, 6 communicating with the cooling unit 5 are provided. A partition wall 8 for regulating short circuit flow between the inlet and outlet 7, 6 is provided in the peripheral gap 3 and an heat insulating member 12 is provided on the inclining bottom wall 2A of the storage hopper 2 facing the outlet 6 so that cold air supplied from the outlet 6 flows substantially in the circumferential direction of the storage hopper 2 before reaching the inlet 7.
